After buying a new phone, we always rush to test its most interesting features. The latest smartphones have a lot of features that make everyday life easier - so many that sometimes we just don't know about them. In this article, we present 5 tricks that will definitely make your Galaxy S22 Ultra experience easier.
Camera control with voice or hand gestures
Although selfies have become an integral part of life, taking pictures with the front camera can be awkward in certain situations - holding the phone and pressing the shutter button while posing can be difficult. That's why Samsung has implemented a feature that makes it much easier to take selfies using your voice or hand gestures.
To access these features, open the Camera app and tap the settings icon in the upper-left corner. In the window that opens, scroll to the bottom, click "Photography methods" and enable the "Voice commands" and "Show palm" settings.
With these features activated, you can take a photo by saying "Smile", "Cheese", "Capture" or "Shoot" - this works with both the front and rear cameras, and the video will start recording when you say "Record Video". To take a selfie or record a video using gestures, simply extend your palm as if waving at the lens.
Protect your data by creating a private space
Did you know that Samsung smartphones have their own data storage called Secure Folder? It's like a personal, even more protected, space where you can move files or apps from your phone's main storage.
To use Secure Folder, select "Biometrics & Security" in your phone settings, then scroll down and tap "Secure Folder". In the window that opens, log in to your Google or Samsung account and set the settings for the secure folder. After doing this, you will see a "Secure Folder" icon among the installed apps on your phone.
After activating the secure folder, you can download various apps to it. It is recommended that you move all banking apps to this folder as it provides an extra level of security in case the phone is left unattended.
