OnePlus has launched more smartphones than ever this year, and one of the latest is the OnePlus 8T, which the company's representatives showed off just a week ago. While the device offers a few improvements over the OnePlus 8 that debuted earlier this year, the step forward in terms of innovation and innovation is far less than last year's OnePlus 7T. However, it should attract your attention for its price.
You can get the new OnePlus 8T now for €573.96 at Geekbuying. For this amount, you will get a model with 128 GB of internal memory and thus save more than 25 euros, because in Lithuania it costs from 599 euros.
Want more memory? Geekbuying is also offering a 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant of the OnePlus 8T for €634.16. That's right, don't forget to use the discount code GKB8T256GB . It is also worth noting that in both cases the phones are shipped with the EU Priority Line option, which means that this is the final price of the devices.
Let's take a look at the new OnePlus 8T. The company abandoned the impressive-looking, but impractical curved edges of the glass due to accidental clicks, and left only the very symbolic 2.5D curl. The diagonal of the AMOLED screen is 6.55 inches, the resolution is FHD+, and the refresh rate is 120Hz. The latter parameter has slightly stretched from the 90Hz found in the OnePlus 8 and is on par with the OnePlus 8 Pro. The company's representatives also claim that they have slightly increased the brightness of the matrix and it now reaches 1100 nits, and the color accuracy is practically ideal - this is confirmed by the JNCD indicator of just 0.3.
Unlike last year, OnePlus decided not to go with the minimally more powerful Snapdragon 865+ this year and chose to stick with the Snapdragon 865 used in the OnePlus 8 series. True, there is really no need to judge the company for this - the increase in the power of the plus chip is practically imperceptible and could theoretically be useful only in games. In addition, OnePlus 8T is equipped with all the necessary attributes for maximum performance - 8 or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal memory of the fastest UFS 3.1 standard. Also, the "Snapdragon X55 5G" modem, which guarantees a large number of supported 5G frequencies, and the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard.
Among the more prominent innovations, the last one is the almost doubled power of Warp Charge fast wired charging, which now reaches even 65W and can recharge the battery up to 60% in just 15 minutes. The full charge will take 39 minutes. It is clear that the new capabilities have forced the manufacturer to take all possible protection against overheating and degradation. For this reason, the total capacity of 4500mAh was achieved by installing two smaller batteries instead of one large one. Also, the smartphone has as many as 12 sensors that monitor the temperature, and the charging cable and the block each have an encrypted microchip so that the user cannot use a non-original cable and thus not cause a fire.
